NEW YORK (77 WABC) — It appears congestion pricing may be more expensive than you thought — with tolls ranging from $9 to $23 dollars when the plan goes into effect as early as the end of 2023.
The projections are part of an MTA environmental review, which includes a variety of possible prices for tolls to enter Manhattan below 60th street.
The cash strapped MTA would benefit from the plan. New Jersey residents are angry about paying extra tolls with state lawmakers expected to challenge the plan.
