NEW YORK, NEW YORK -(77WABC)- The first bus-load of illegal immigrants, caught at the Texas border, and sent to New York City arriving early Friday morning at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Governor Greg Abbott says NYC is proud to be a sanctuary city, and should not complain about shouldering the burden saying illegal immigrants cross the border into Texas everyday. New York City Mayor Eric Adams says “Abbott’s continued use of human beings as political pawns is disgusting, and an embarrassing stain on the state of Texas.” Texas had been sending illegal immigrants to Washington D.C., as a way to send a message to President Biden.
