The Mets will face off against the Braves in a big five-game series at Citi Field starting today. New York currently leads Atlanta by 3.5 games entering today after gaining a game yesterday with a win and a Braves loss. The pitching matchup tonight will be a good one with Carlos Carrasco taking on Kyle Wright. Carrasco has an 11-4 record with a 3.79 ERA while Wright is 13-4 with a 2.94 ERA. This weekend Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer are both scheduled to pitch which bodes well for New York who will try to extend their division lead. I think this will be an evenly matched series but I like the Mets chances at winning this series vs their division rivals.
