NEWARK, N.J. (77WABC) — Nine people including a teenager were shot in Newark Thursday night.
Police say it appears to be a drive-by shooting. They say it happened around 6:30 pm near Shephard and Clinton Place.
Some of the victims including a 17-year-old were treated at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with gunshot wounds. Four other victims were treated at University Hospital, also for gunshot wounds.
All nine victims are reportedly in stable condition.
