NEW JERSEY–(77WABC)- With gas prices spiking over 5 dollars a gallon in New Jersey—drivers are looking everywhere for the cheapest deal.
Costco has its own string of gas stations in New Jersey with prices typically lower than other retailers. But as of July 5th–you will need a Costco membership card to fill up.
The price for a gallon of regular gas at Costco is about $4.83 a gallon. But not so fast—there’s a law on the books in New Jersey which doesn’t allow retailers to restrict gasoline sales. So it remains to be seen how this will play out.
