The Angels have fired manager Joe Maddon after Los Angeles lost 12 games in a row. The Angels started off the season with a nice 27-16 record and things looked like they were going to be different for the Angels of Anaheim this year with Trout and Ohtani leading the charge, but that was not the case. Over his 19-year career Maddon has managed for the Rays, Cubs and Angels twice. Maddon has had a really nice managerial career thus far leading the Rays to their first American League Pennant in 2008 and winning a World Series with the Cubs which was their first in 108 years in 2016. Maddon said that if the opportunity comes along that he would like to manage again. Maddon is 68 years old.
