Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams said a lot of the right things yesterday in regard to gun control, but we've learned to take everything these two say with a huge grain of salt because chances are they'll say something today that will negate everything they said the day prior. Where are the days of consistent politicians who stuck to their ideals, but also knew how to have a productive debate with someone who doesn't agree with them? They are out there, we just have to find them and elect them to these offices currently under the stranglehold of progressive hacks. They've got the right idea in California, with San Francisco D.A. Chesa Boudin facing a recall election and L.A.'s D.A. George Gascon facing heavy backlash for his soft-on-crime policies.
