NEW YORK, NEW YORK – (77WABC) – The NYPD has arrested a man wanted in connection with a hammer attack against an Asian man in the subway Tuesday night.
Police arresting 48-year-old Christian Jeffers on Wednesday, and charged him with a hate crime. He was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
The incident happened on the number 2 subway platform at the 14th street station in Chelsea, just before 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night.
