The deranged man accused of pushing a woman to her death in the subway, says he is “GOD”

NEW YORK, NEW YORK  (77WABC)- The sister of the deranged ex-con accused of fatally shoving a Times Square straphanger, told The NEW YORK Post on Monday that her brother never should have been free to walk the streets.

Josette Simon wept as she recalled begging a doctors to keep her brother in the hospital because of his mental illness.

Police say 61 year old Simon Martial confessed to pushing Michelle Go before an oncoming train at the 42nd street station on Saturday morning.

As Martial was escorted by police he told reporters he shoved the woman because he is “GOD.”

Martial has a long rap sheet for charges, ranging from robbery to assault.
