LOS ANGELES (77WABC) — TMZ has reported that the LAPD has opened an investigation into a rapper Kanye West for allegedly punching a someone trying to get his autograph early Thursday.
Footage of the aftermath shows West screaming at a woman trying to calm him down while the unidentified fan lies on the floor, clutching his head in pain.
The incident took place in Downtown LA at around 3am, outside the club Soho Warehouse.
Witnesses told TMZ that West punched the man twice in the head and once in the neck, causing the fan to fall and hit his head on the sidewalk.
The alleged victim refused medical treatment at the scene, and the LAPD is currently investigating the incident.
