WASHINGTON D.CÂ (77WABC)- Lawmakers on Capital Hill voting Wednesday to censure Arizona Republican Representative Paul Gosar.
The vote was 223 to 207
Gosar posting a photoshopped video showing him attacking and killing New York democratic representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, and attacking President Biden.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi say’s “we can’t have a member of the House joking about murdering one another, or threatening the President of the United States.
She say’s “this is both an endangerment to our elected officials, and an insult to the institution of the House of Representatives.
In 2010 former New York Congressman Charles Rangel was found guilty of 11 counts of violating House ethics rules, with the house ultimately voting to censure Rangel.
