Suffolk County, NY (77WABC)- Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from Suffolk County’s Hate Crime Unit are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for hanging a noose at a Senior Center in North Amityville.
Police says a noose was found hanging from a pergola behind North Amityville Senior Center, located at 48 Cedar Road, earlier this month.
Investigators say it’s believed the noose was placed there sometime between October 1st, 2021 at 4:40 p.m. and October 4th at Noon.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Police say anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers .
