NEW YORK, NY) (77 WABC) –Covid vaccination pop up sites sites will be featured outside select New York City movie theaters beginning this weekend. Its part of Mayor de Blasio’s so called “Vax to the Movies” program.
City officials say the pop up vaccination sites have proven to be successful in the effort to get as many people as possible vaccinated.
The mayor is encouraging people heading out to the movies to get vaccinated and get paid for it, in taking advantage of the $ 100 dollar incentive.
He says $100 dollars can buy a lot of popcorn.
