New York, NY (77WABC)- Former President Trump has asked a Florida federal judge to lift the ban on his Twitter account.
The former president’s legal team filed a motion for a preliminary injunction against the social media platform and it’s CEO Jack Dorsey, stating that President Trump was wrongfully suspended from the website after members of Congress applied pressure to remove his account. The court filing also states that President Trump was wrongfully labeled his tweets as “misleading information” prior to his ban.
President Trump has not had access to Twitter since January 8th, where he had 88 million follows prior to his suspension.
