Bronx, NY (77WABC)-An 83-year-old man was taken to Jacobi Hospital suffering from facial fractures after he was pummeled and had liquid poured over his head as he tried to exit an MTA bus in the Bronx following an argument.
The New York City Police Department has released photo’s and a video in connection with the attack on the #8621 bus on Monday May 31st. It’s hoped the public can help investigators determined the identity of the man allegedly responsible for the attack.
Police say the physical assault occurred after the 83-year-old and the suspect got into a verbal dispute aboard the bus. The suspect poured liquid over the victim’s head and then proceeded to punch him multiple times in the face with a closed fist, according to police. The suspect left the bus and fled westbound on East Gun Hill Road.
The victim was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi for treatment and has since been released.
 The person police are looking for is described as a dark-skinned male approximately 30 – 40 years of age, 5’11” tall, and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a denim jacket, blue jeans, a black hat and black sneakers.
