New York, NY (77WABC)-A gunman, with a criminal past, who allegedly shot three people outside of a liquor store in Bushwick, Brooklyn last night refused police orders to drop his weapon and was shot and killed by police.
The three victims ages 27, 39 and 40 suffered non life threatening injuries outside Boardwalk Wine and Spirits on Halsey Street at around 10:30 p.m.
Police located the gunman nearby on Wilson Avenue from a description given by the people who were shot.
The officers involved, two patrol officers and a sergeant, all in uniform, were taken to Woodhull Hospital for ringing in their ears.

Police say the 53-year-old suspect was pronounced dead at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.
The gunman, whose name has not been released, has seven prior arrests, including for gun possession and robbery.
Police say his weapon was recovered at the scene along with three other firearms.
