Today is Election Day in New York City:

77 WABC is ramping up New York City Election Coverage, starting today from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Hosts Rudy Giuliani, Lidia Curanaj, Dominic Carter, Gov. David Patterson and John Catsimatidis are giving many candidates from several the opportunity to call in, with five minutes each to finalize their positions and make their pleas to the voting public.

77 WABC will have reporters at the major campaigns getting updates throughout the afternoon.

Election coverage will continue tonight with Rita Cosby and Dominic Carter from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., continuing the real time results and reports from candidates’ election headquarters.
