Babylon, NY (77WABC)-Suffolk County Police took 38-year-old, Andrew Quattrone of Manorville, into custody Wednesday aftrnoon after he allegedly attempted to solicit sex from a 15-year-old female in a parking lot behind 24 East Main Street in Babylon.
A two-count warrant was issued on May 24th for Quattrone of 10 Claire Court by Suffolk County’s First District Court for Criminal Solicitation in the 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Quattrone is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.
Detectives say it was around 5:15 p.m. on May 13th when Quattrone approached the teenager handing her a cell phone with a pre-typed sexually explicit message for her to read. The message requested she perform a sex act, according to police. When a friend of the victim walked over, Quattrone fled the parking lot in a gray 2006 Acura with New York license plate KKT-1304.
