Queens, NY (77WABC)-A gunman fled in a dark-colored sedan after opening fire around 9:40 last night in St. Albans at 119-37 178th Street.
Three people have shot a father, his son, and a third man. It’s the third time the father, 39-year old Tyshawn Moses, has been the victim of gunfire. Police say Moses survived shootings in 2005 and 2013. Moses has 23 prior arrests, 16 of those cases are sealed. It’s not known if he was the intended target of the gunfire.
The man’s 8-year-old son was also struck. The third shooting victim is identified as 57-year-old Robin Rockford.
All three were taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The child was transferred to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
An investigation is ongoing.
