AMBER
East Orange, NJ (77WABC)-A two-week-old East Orange infant is back home safe and sound with her mother after being the subject of two Amber Alerts Monday afternoon. Chinna Payne was located unharmed, checked out at a hospital, and returned to her mother.
New Jersey State Police issued an Amber Alert after the girl’s father, 27-year-old Damion Payne, allegedly abducted the child. The Amber Alert indicated Payne may have been armed with a handgun. Troopers indicated he was driving a white 2016 Nissan Altima with Virginia Plate VPF6043.
Further details surrounding the circumstances of the abduction and the recovery of the infant have not been released.

Police say Payne faces charges of robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child.
