Queens, NY (77WABC)-Alert police officers on duty in the middle of the night became suspicious after spotting four men placing what turned out to be the body of a dead woman in the trunk of their vehicle
and driving away.
Around 2 am, NYPD officers from the 101st Precinct spotted four suspects exiting 11-16 Foam Place placing carrying a large unknown object in the trunk of their vehicle. Police followed the vehicle as it drove away. Officers pulled the vehicle over in the area of the Nassau Expressway and Bayview Avenue.
Officers discovered an adult female wrapped in a blanket in the vehicle’s trunk. The woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead by the Medical Examiner who will determine the official cause of death.
The four suspects, whose names have not been released, were taken into custody. An investigation is ongoing.
