SUCKERPUNCH
(Bronx, NY/77WABC)-Yet another violent unprovoked attack in NYC. Police have released a photo and a video of a suspect wanted in connection with an incident in the UniverSity Heights section of the Bronx Monday morning in which a 61-year-old man was knocked unconscious after being sucker-punched.
The NYPD says the attack occurred at 11:45 in the morning in front of 4 East Burnside Avenue. The victim was knocked to the ground and rendered unconscious. EMS responded and transported the victim in stable condition to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated for a laceration to his lip and pain and swelling to his head.
The unidentified male attacker boarded an eastbound BX40Â Bus in the immediate vicinity of the incident location.
