Police say a verbal dispute on Sat. March 13th, began inside of a deli at 113 Rutland Rd. between the suspect and a 14-year-old female victim. The victim left the location and entered the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road train station and was followed by the 21-year-old female to the mezzanine area of the #3 subway line. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation, at which point the female suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect fled the location.
The teenage victim, whose name has not been released sustained a stab wound to her chest and was transported via EMS to Maimonides Hospital, where she was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
