A Female Suspect Arrested In Connection With A Subway Stabbing

(Brooklyn, NY/77WABC)-A 21-year-old Bronx female is under arrest after a dispute led to a stabbing of a 14-year-old inside of a subway station in Brooklyn, NY.

Police say under arrest is Bianca Lewis of 149 Remsen Ave. in Brooklyn. The NYPD says Lewis was arrested and charged Sunday with Assault and  Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Police say a verbal dispute on Sat. March 13th, began inside of a deli at 113 Rutland Rd. between the suspect and a 14-year-old female victim. The victim left the location and entered the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road train station and was followed by the 21-year-old female to the mezzanine area of the #3 subway line. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation, at which point the female suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect fled the location.

The teenage victim, whose name has not been released sustained a stab wound to her chest and was transported via EMS to Maimonides Hospital, where she was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
