Video; An Attempted Rape Suspect At Large

(New York, NY/77WABC)-Police say a 40-year-old woman walking on East 131 Street and the Harlem River Drive, Wed. afternoon was violently tossed to the pavement by an attempted rape suspect who pulled per pants down and attempted to rape her. The woman struggled with the man and was able to break free from his grip. The individual ran off.

 

EMS transported the woman to St. Luke’s Hospital, where she was treated for a minor abrasion to her head.

The rape suspect is described as an adult male with a dark complexion and a medium build. He was last seen wearing an orange knit cap, a black hooded jacket with a Nike and NFL logo on the front, a white t-shirt with a black shirt over it,  black pants, black sneakers, and a surgical mask.
