(New York, NY)-The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the identity and whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached surveillance photos. The individual is wanted in connection with an assault and burglary pattern within the confines of the 1st, 13th, Midtown South and Midtown North Precincts.
On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at approximately 6:30 pm, the suspect entered The Gumbae restaurant located at 67 Murray Street and removed an iPad from the front desk before fleeing. On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at approximately 9:30 am an unidentified individual entered the Shanghai Mong restaurant located at 30 West 32nd Street through an unlocked door and removed approximately $300 dollars from a cash register before fleeing. Around noon on Saturday, February 13, 2021, a 38-year-old male victim was involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual in front of 83 Pearl Street. The unidentified individual stabbed the victim in the face with an unknown sharp object before fleeing southbound on Pearl Street.
The individual is wanted in connection with two other incidents.
On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at approximately 6;50 AM, a 60-year-old female victim was walking on the sidewalk in front of 10 Union Square East when she was approached by an unidentified individual. The unidentified individual swung a black bag striking the victim in the back of the head, unprovoked, before fleeing toward 14th Street. The victim sustained swelling to the back of the head.
On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at approximately 8:45 AM, the suspect entered the Elgin restaurant located at 64 West 48th Street and removed two tablets and approximately $250 dollars from the hostess stand and cash register before fleeing on foot.
