BESTBUY
(Queens, NY/77WABC)-No injuries were reported following a partial roof and wall collapse at Best Buy storage unit in Astoria, located at 32-49 49th Street around 7 p.m Monday.
Approximately 25 feet of a brick wall collapsed into the adjacent parking lot.
Con Edison was called in to shut off gas to the building.
Officials believe the incident could have stemmed from a structural deficiency. Owners have been cited by the buildings department for failure to properly maintain the warehouse.
