NEW YORK (77WABC) – New York State Assemblyman Ron Kim (D) spoke to Lidia Curanaj on Tuesday afternoon and recounted the phone conversation he had with Governor Cuomo.

According to Kim the governor berated and threatened him for over ten minutes.  Kim said he and his wife feared for their safety at one point and cried for hours.  Kim said he lives in a small apartment and despite his best efforts to shield his wife from the vitriol allegedly spewed by Cuomo his wife heard the entire conversation.

Kim says the Governor and his staff called him eight times before he picked up and threatened to destroy him.  Governor Cuomo’s office categorically denies Kim’s accusations and Cuomo’s adviser who was also present during the phone says Kim is lying.
