(Bronx, NY/77WABC)-The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in front of 2078 Morris Ave on Monday Feb. 22nd, 2021. Police have identified the deceased as 28-year-old Anthony Castillo of 55 Mt. Hope Place in the Bronx, NY.
Shortly before 11 pm on Feb. 22nd, police responded to a 911 cal finding Castillo lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his chest. EMS also responded to the location and transported the male victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
