(New York, NY) – The “Some Gave All” singer is giving his thoughts on the state of American politics. While appearing on British outlet Sky News, the country singer-turned-famous dad on Disney’s Hannah Montana did not take the bait from the host Wilfred Frost. Frost called President Trump divisive and asked Cyrus if he thinks there should be someone to reel in the commander in chief.
Cyrus skirted around the question, saying that being president is a tough job. He said “I pray for our country, I pray for our president”. Cyrus comes from a long line of Bluegrass Democrats. His father, Ron Cyrus, served 11 consecutive terms in the Kentucky House of Representatives. Ray previously supported Democratic candidates, but in the 2024 election he endorsed President Trump. Cyrus also performed at Trump’s inaugural Liberty Ball.
