(Los Angeles, California) – Four former family friends of the late pop icon Michael Jackson have filed a lawsuit against his estate, alleging they were sexually abused and trafficked as children over a period of years.

Edward Cascio, Dominic Cascio, Marie Porte and Aldo Cascio are suing The Michael Jackson Company, accusing Jackson of sex trafficking minors by force, fraud, or coercion. In the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that over the course of roughly a decade, Jackson “drugged, raped, and sexually assaulted each of the Plaintiffs,” beginning when some of them were as young as seven or eight years old.

According to the lawsuit, the siblings claim Jackson ingratiated himself into their lives through gifts, access to his celebrity lifestyle, and declarations of affection. They allege he then isolated them from one another and their families before carrying out repeated abuse.

The filing includes allegations that misconduct occurred during interstate and international travel, naming locations such as Switzerland, Florida, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Edward Cascio further alleges abuse took place at properties belonging to Elizabeth Taylor in Switzerland and Elton John in the United Kingdom.

The plaintiffs also claim Jackson exposed them to pornography and images of unclothed minors, which they allege he referred to as “sweet,” and that he was frequently under the influence of prescription medications including Xanax and Vicodin.

The Cascios contend members of Jackson’s inner circle enabled the alleged abuse. After viewing the documentary Finding Neverland, they say they sought compensation from the Jackson estate and reached a financial settlement. According to the filing, each sibling received $690,000 per year for five years. They now argue that sum was inadequate and are seeking to void the prior agreement.

Attorneys Mark Geragos and Howard King represent the Cascios. Following a recent hearing in Los Angeles, King said his clients believe they are entitled to $200 million in damages.

Marty Singer, an attorney for the Jackson estate, has previously denied similar allegations and characterized such claims as attempts to extort the estate.

Jackson, who died in 2009, denied allegations of child sexual abuse during his lifetime and was acquitted of criminal charges in a 2005 trial.

The new lawsuit seeks damages for alleged sex trafficking, negligence, emotional distress, breach of contract, fraud, and related claims. The case is expected to further reignite debate surrounding Jackson’s legacy and the ongoing legal disputes tied to his estate.
