(New York, New York) – A viral video circulating on social media shows dozens of workers shoveling snow along a single New York City block — with on-screen text claiming they are being paid $45 per hour under Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s emergency snow response initiative.
The footage, widely shared across platforms, appears to show a large group clearing a sidewalk area during a recent winter storm.
