(Washington, DC) – Florida Republican Randy Fine ignited further controversy Wednesday after reacting to claims that Democrats chanted “KKK” during President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address.

Responding to viral clips circulating online, Fine wrote on social media:

“These clowns need to be denaturalized and deported.”

Fine did not specify which lawmakers he was referring to, but his post came amid allegations that Rashida Tlaib appeared to chant “KKK” while Republicans were chanting “USA” during the address.

The claim itself has not been independently verified, and Tlaib has not publicly responded to the allegation as of publication.

Escalating Political Fallout

The State of the Union, delivered Tuesday night by Donald Trump, was marked by visible partisan tensions, including interruptions and audible reactions from members of both parties.

Fine’s remarks quickly drew reaction online, with critics calling the language extreme and supporters defending it as a response to what they view as inflammatory behavior during the speech.

Denaturalization — the legal process of revoking U.S. citizenship — is rare and typically applies in cases involving fraud during the naturalization process or serious criminal conduct. Legal experts note that members of Congress are elected officials protected by constitutional standards, and deportation of sitting lawmakers would face extraordinary legal hurdles.

The controversy underscores the heightened political climate following the address, as viral clips and social media reactions continue to amplify partisan divisions.
