(Washington, DC) – New reporting has renewed attention on the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, with claims that he may have hidden sensitive documents and materials inside storage units located across multiple states.
According to sources familiar with the matter, investigators have been examining whether storage facilities tied to Epstein contained records, electronic devices, photographs, or other materials that were not previously disclosed during earlier federal investigations.
Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges, died in custody at a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide, though questions surrounding his network and possible associates have continued to fuel public scrutiny and ongoing litigation.
Authorities previously seized evidence from several of Epstein’s properties, including residences in New York, Florida, New Mexico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. However, the possibility that additional materials were kept off-site in rented storage units has prompted renewed interest from lawmakers and legal observers.
