(Rye, New York) – Jeanine Pirro is suing the town of Rye for $250,000 after she says she was injured in a trip-and-fall accident on a Westchester roadway.
According to a legal filing, Pirro tripped over a large wooden block protruding from a steel plate in the road on August 28—just weeks after she was confirmed as the Trump administration’s top prosecutor for the District of Columbia.
The 74-year-old former Fox News host was reportedly confined to bed, required medical treatment, and “continues to experience pain and suffering,” the filing states.
Pirro is seeking $250,000 in damages, alleging the roadway condition caused her injuries. Town officials have not yet publicly responded to the lawsuit.
