(Washington, DC) – According to repots across social media, newly highlighted campaign finance records show that Senator Jon Husted received more than $100,000 in donations from businessman Les Wexner, a former associate of Jeffrey Epstein.

The contributions were reportedly accepted months before Husted voted to block the public release of materials often referred to as the “Epstein Files.”

Critics are raising questions about the timing of the donations and the senator’s subsequent vote. There is no public evidence that the contributions directly influenced his decision.

Wexner, the former CEO of L Brands, previously acknowledged financial ties to Epstein, who was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges and later died in custody.

Husted’s office has not publicly commented on the matter.
