(New York, New York) – A former FBI agent says Attorney General Pam Bondi has a “slam dunk” conspiracy case against former federal officials he claims engaged in election meddling by targeting Donald Trump while shielding prominent Democrats.
Jonathan Gilliam, a retired FBI agent and Navy SEAL, told Just the News, No Noise that documents recently turned over to Congress show agents were repeatedly blocked from pursuing corruption allegations involving Hillary Clinton and her family foundation, while prosecutors pushed forward investigations into Trump without sufficient probable cause.
Gilliam said the pattern points to a broader conspiracy and urged Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to pursue criminal charges. He also called on Trump to appoint a “Justice Czar” to coordinate prosecutions and policy reforms.
“This is the same cast of characters every time,” Gilliam said, alleging that evidence was created or falsified to pursue Trump while legitimate investigations were shut down to protect Clinton. “If this were a mafia or cartel case, it would be a slam dunk for any U.S. attorney.”
Gilliam argued the conduct could rise to charges including conspiracy and sedition, comparing the alleged actions to an organized enterprise working to influence the outcome of an election.
His comments came as Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said there is sufficient evidence to consider a conspiracy case alleging federal and state officials infringed on the civil liberties of Trump and his supporters.
Gilliam said the scope of any prosecution would be massive and require centralized leadership. “We need real investigators under a justice czar to criminally investigate and charge these people,” he said.
The Justice Department has not announced whether it plans to pursue charges related to the allegations.
