(New York, New York) – First Lady Melania Trump appeared live Friday morning on Sid & Friends in the Morning, sitting down with host Sid Rosenberg for a wide-ranging and candid interview that quickly drew national attention.
The live broadcast aired on 77 WABC, marking one of the First Lady’s most visible media appearances since returning to the White House. During the conversation, Sid asked Melania how she felt about President Trump’s YMCA dancing habits and if she liked to dance too…
“Yes — I do dance, and it’s not hard to dance,” Melania said. “That music — [the YMCA] is happy!”
Rosenberg later asked what President Trump is like at home, prompting a personal response rarely heard from the First Lady.
“He has a great sense of humor and is a very hard-working man — working hard for the United States and the world too,” she said. “He is the same at home and has a great sense of humor. He loves people and loves to talk and connect.”
Melania also spoke about balancing the demands of public life with privacy, emphasizing her focus on family while continuing to support the President during his second term. Melania and Sid also talked about her new documentary ‘Melania.’
Rosenberg praised Mrs. Trump for how great the documentary is doing, the best and highest grossing documentary in over a decade.
“We’ve had great success, I’m so glad to see the audience love it and leave happy messages,” Melania responded.
