Special screening of the film ‘Marty Supreme’ in Beverly Hills
(Los Angeles, CA) — The movie “Marty Supreme” is having a major awards-season moment, It’s been nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The film, set in 1952, is about table tennis player Marty Mauser, portrayed by Timothee Chalamet, who was also nominated for Best Actor. 77 WABC owner and operator John Catsimatidis also has a featured role in the movie.
The gritty, emotionally charged drama has been praised for its powerhouse performances, sharp direction, and fearless storytelling, drawing strong reactions from both critics and audiences. The nominations span major categories, underscoring how broadly the film resonated across the Academy.
