(New York, New York) – Media personality Megyn Kelly said Monday she does not feel sympathy for Alex Pretti, the ICU nurse fatally shot by federal agents during an immigration enforcement operation in Minneapolis.

Speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly argued that Pretti was “being subversive” and accused protesters at the scene of deliberately interfering with law enforcement. She stressed that demonstrations should be conducted peacefully and without obstructing officers.

Kelly warned that resisting or physically interfering with Border Patrol or ICE agents can rapidly escalate into dangerous situations, adding that “anything that resembles resisting” places individuals in serious legal and physical jeopardy.

Bystander video shows Pretti filming agents moments before the confrontation. While footage does not show him pointing a weapon, later angles appear to show officers removing a handgun from his waistband while he was already on the ground, raising questions among critics about the use of deadly force.

The White House says it is reviewing the incident, with Donald Trump stating his administration will “follow the facts” before reaching a determination.
