(New York, New York) – Bill O’Reilly says the most important detail surrounding the ongoing Minnesota immigration unrest is being ignored by major media outlets – and he argues it involves alleged foreign influence.
Speaking on his program, O’Reilly claimed that an American billionaire living in Shanghai, Neville Roy Singham, is funneling millions of dollars into U.S.-based activist groups through nonprofit organizations. O’Reilly alleged the funds are being directed to radical groups that have helped fuel protests and unrest tied to immigration enforcement.
“This isn’t organic,” O’Reilly said, calling the situation part of a broader international effort involving Beijing. He claimed Singham works with the Chinese government and alleged the funding is intended to destabilize the United States – assertions O’Reilly said have gone largely unreported.
O’Reilly also claimed Singham has previously been investigated by federal authorities, though no current charges or findings were cited during the broadcast.
While Singham has been publicly reported to fund activist organizations and has denied acting on behalf of any foreign government, O’Reilly blasted outlets like New York Times for what he described as a refusal to cover the foreign funding angle.
“This is a federal story, and an international one,” O’Reilly said, adding that the public deserves answers.
