Former President Joe Biden blasted the Trump administration in a fiery statement posted to X, accusing the federal government of betraying core American values following deadly enforcement actions in Minneapolis.
Biden said the United States is “not a nation that guns down our citizens in the street” and condemned what he described as government brutality against Americans exercising their constitutional rights, including violations of the Fourth Amendment. He praised Minnesotans for standing up to injustice and said they have “suffered enough at the hands of this Administration.”
The former president called for “full, fair, and transparent investigations” into the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, offering condolences alongside First Lady Jill Biden and urging Americans nationwide to speak out, warning that silence allows injustice to spread.
