(New York, New York) – Veteran broadcaster Bill O’Reilly told supporters this week that he is dealing with an unspecified health issue but sounded optimistic about a quick return.
In a message posted on his website, O’Reilly wrote, “Sorry I am dealing with a malady. We have great doctors so we’ll fight the good fight.” The 76-year-old added that the issue does not affect his ability to write and that he plans to continue updating audiences on both his health and the news cycle.
O’Reilly said he hopes to be “back in the saddle shortly.” No further details about the illness were provided. O’Reilly formerly hosted Common Sense with Bill O’Reilly on 77 WABC Radio.
