(Davos, Switzerland) – California Gov. Gavin Newsom brushed off questions Wednesday about media personality Don Lemon and a controversial church incident in Minnesota while speaking to reporters at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
A reporter asked Newsom directly: “Any comment on Don Lemon charging into the church in Minnesota?”
Newsom appeared caught off guard by the question. “What? Don Lemon? Into a church?” Newsom replied. “I literally know nothing about it.”
The brief exchange quickly circulated online as the Minnesota church disruption, which did not involve Newsom, continued to draw national attention and political debate.
