(New York, New York) – Barron Trump is being credited with saving a woman’s life after witnessing a violent assault unfold live on FaceTime and immediately calling police, according to Metro.
The woman testified in Snaresbrook Crown Court that her ex-boyfriend, Matvei Rumianstev, attacked her after becoming jealous of her friendship with Barron.
Barron reportedly answered a FaceTime call expecting a normal conversation, only to see his friend being beaten. He quickly called UK emergency services at 999, telling operators, “I just got a call from a girl I know. She’s getting beaten up,” and provided her address.
Audio played in court captured Barron describing hearing screaming and seeing his friend crying and being hit. He later told police calling authorities was “the best thing I could do,” saying he didn’t want to escalate the situation.
The woman told jurors Barron’s call was “a sign from God,” adding, “He helped save my life.”
The case against Rumianstev is ongoing. Barron Trump has not publicly commented.
