(Minneapolis, Minnesota) – Anti-ICE rioters caught themselves on video breaking into federal law enforcement vehicles and stealing equipment during protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Minneapolis Wednesday night.

Multiple videos posted online show protesters vandalizing parked gray vans believed to belong to federal authorities, spray-painting anti-ICE slogans and forcing open compartments inside the vehicles. In one clip, rioters can be seen using a hatchet to break open a secured crate while others swarm the van and remove items. A large, rifle-sized black bag was pulled from the vehicle and carried away as the crowd searched for more equipment, with one person heard saying, “There’s some bullets.”

Other footage shows protesters attempting to drag a crate behind a car in an apparent effort to break it open, while flashlights illuminated the stripped vehicles and items were left scattered across the street. Tow trucks were later seen removing the damaged vans.

The vandalism comes amid escalating unrest tied to recent ICE-related incidents in Minneapolis. President Donald Trump warned Thursday that continued violence against federal agents could prompt a federal response, including possible use of the Insurrection Act. Authorities have not yet said what equipment was taken, and investigations remain ongoing.
