(Brooklyn, New York) – Another alleged antisemitic hate crime has shaken Brooklyn after a man was attacked while walking with his wife and four young children in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.
According to the New York City Police Department, a woman began yelling violent antisemitic threats late Friday night before punching a 26-year-old Orthodox Jewish man in the head. Authorities say the suspect screamed, “I’m gonna kill you Jews,” and threatened the man’s children, allegedly shouting, “I’m gonna kill your kids and your kids are dead tonight.”
Police said the victim was walking with his wife and four children — ranging in age from six months to six years old — when the attack occurred. The children were not physically injured, but investigators say they were placed in danger during the confrontation.
Authorities arrested Isharae Summers, 35, who is charged with assault as a hate crime, attempted assault, aggravated harassment, menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child. Summers has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The incident marks the latest in a series of reported antisemitic attacks across New York City, prompting renewed concern among Jewish community leaders and residents. The investigation remains ongoing.
