(New York, New York) – According to CBS The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good on January 7 in Minneapolis suffered internal bleeding to his torso after the incident, according to multiple U.S. officials familiar with his medical condition. The agent has been identified as Jonathan Ross, who was reportedly struck by Good’s SUV during the confrontation before he fired the fatal shots.

The reports indicate Ross was treated for internal injuries following the encounter, which has already sparked national controversy, protests, and intense scrutiny over the use of force by federal authorities.
