(New York, New York) – Content creator, Nick Shirley, whose recent videos showing alleged fraud at state-funded daycare centers have gone viral, says his reporting is only just beginning.
In a statement posted to social media, Shirley vowed to continue digging into what he described as systemic abuse of taxpayer-funded childcare programs, warning that the problems uncovered in Minnesota are not isolated. “There’s widespread fraud in daycare facilities across the country,” Shirley said. “And I’ve been given a mandate to expose it – so more will be coming.”
Shirley’s reporting has already drawn national attention by highlighting daycare locations that appeared inactive or nonexistent despite receiving public funds. His work has fueled calls for federal investigations and renewed scrutiny of how states oversee social-service spending.
Supporters say Shirley is filling a void left by regulators and legacy media, exposing what they argue is a long-running failure to protect taxpayer dollars meant for children and families. Critics have accused him of sensationalism, though no evidence has emerged disputing the core findings presented in his reporting.
With federal authorities already investigating fraud tied to childcare and social-service programs in several states, Shirley’s pledge suggests the issue could expand into a broader national reckoning over oversight, enforcement, and accountability.
As scrutiny intensifies, Shirley says Americans should expect additional revelations – and more pressure on officials tasked with safeguarding public funds. Shirley delivers a clear message, he won’t back down- even after receiving death threats.
