(New York, New York) – President Donald Trump released a chart on Truth Social showing that 72% of Somali households in the United States receive government welfare.
The chart was shared publicly by Trump but did not include a cited source or methodology explaining how the figure was calculated. Trump and his supporters said the data highlights concerns over immigration and long-term reliance on public assistance programs.
One user on X responded to the chart, “Why doesn’t he spend time deporting them? We know the fraud is massive, so why aren’t they being deported? ” Another user mentioned what kind of immigrants should come to the United States “Either bring in top tier contributors or don’t bring in anyone at all.”
