Get Ready for a Ton of Venezuela TDS

(New York, NY) – Waking up on Saturday, January 3, the word had broke. Nicolas Maduro, the thuggish autocrat who calls himself the president of Venezeula, had been arrested. Despite weeks if not months (really years) of time permitted in which he could have gathered his family, some money, and fled — he stuck it out in Caracas. Maduro basically decided the South American country’s most recent election didn’t matter, and he remained in power, while Nobel Peace Price winner María Corina Machado was forced to flee into exile.

One wonders now if Machado — the rightful winner in 2023’s contest — can somehow play a role in Venezuela’s comeback. President Trump might call in MVGA — which looks like a misprinted luxury label you might see along Fifth Avenue — but really is just an acronym denoting how wealthy Venezuela once was, how prosperous, and culturally vibrant, before socialism destroyed all that. Begore Hugo Chavez, and most recently, Maduro.

Yet despite the fact that President Trump’s military operation had already more or less stopped the flow of deadly drugs from Venezuela, and even though Maduro is now in handcuffs and awaiting trial in the US, the political left will have found themselves furious at all of it. Democrat politicians and evening news programs have screamed and seethed about “war crimes” after drug boats were taken out before their poison reached our shores. For those people — either theoretically or because they actually have some twisted sense of self-hatred — drug overdoses here in the US are better than narcoterrorists being shot down over there. Overdoses in Appalachia are fine. I mean we have NARCAN. Just don’t harm those ruthless and uncaring drug dealers in their speed boats. They’re making a living!

Like so many things we’ve seen during the Trump era, this action neatly exposes the rampant hypocrisy the political left is willing to display, because they’ve allowed the president to be created into a “super cult of personality”. Where people on the right can bicker and disagree about any number of issues, the left demands complete orthodoxy among its followers. Because Trump. And other pet causes, like Palestine, enabling violent crime, and racism. Opiates have killed hundreds of thousands if not millions in just decades time (especially since the onset of fentanyl) but bold action to stop their flow and cut the head off the leader are met with opposition.

For years, politicians on both sides of the aisle publicly discussed the need to solve the “opiate crisis.” Has Trump done that by cutting off illegal immigration from Mexico and arresting Nicolas Maduro? Time will tell. But you can believe no one in the pages of the New York Times, or on CNN or MSNOW, will be willing to find out. That’s pure TDS. Trump Derangement Syndrome. And it’s a pervasive sickness.

Maduro, in the closing days of his time at large, asserted that drugs coming from Columbia are truly to blame. He suggested his country’s leadership has fallen victim to foreign drug imports that then were shipped to the US. You can expect that to be parroted by the walking morons of the left who want to offer Maduro cover, if only to detract from Trump’s major accomplishment here — and in an attempt to make Trump look like a war monger. There was also the pathetic news item from just one day before Maduro’s capture that he was “willing to talk,” with the US.

Now he’s got plenty of time to talk. To his lawyer. And to whoever he decides to befriend in the yard at whatever jailhouse holds him. Maybe he’ll use his phone call and ask Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel for bail money.

Then again, Maduro might be better off waiting out the GoFundMe some lunatic leftist is bound to set up any moment. Because TDS.
